For the welfare of its employees, Mizoram Presbyterian Church enacted the Employees’ Provident Fund Law in 1946. The Law also includes the pension plan of its employees as well as the person plan of their families as well in 1957 and in 1977, the Law was revised to add more benefit to the employees of the Hospital.
 
The Synod Penson and Provident Fund Law 1992 bought about a radical change to the Hospital System. Before the implementation of the Law, Funds were collected but after 1992, Synod made a fix budget to manage and organised the Funding System. 
 
The Employees’’ Pension Scheme 1955 enacted by the Indian Government is a scheme intended to replace the Employees Family Pension 1971. Although the new scheme is similar to that of the one already used by Synod, the Government demanded that it made a change to improve the scheme already used by Synod or to improve upon the already existing scheme. The Income Tax Department is also expected to make sure that the Synod Pension Law is exempt form that of the Employees’’ Pension Scheme 1995 enacted by the Indian Government and as the result, the Law of 1992 was revised in the year 1998. After having such revisions, the Law was again revised in 2008 and 2014 and the current Law used that is being implemented is the ‘Synod mirawihte Provident Fund, Insurance Fund, Pension Fund Dan leh Pension Fund Dan Thar (NPS) 2014’.
 
The Family and Normal Pension undertaken by the Synod Pension and Provident Fund is as follows: -
(1) Pensioners : 463
(2) Family Pension : 130
      Total : 593
 
Synod New Pension Scheme: 
There are 315 members who adopted the Synod New Pension 2014 in 2015. Amongst the 315 employees, 297 of them have the Permanent Retirement Account Number (PRAN). 
 
In the office of the Synod Pension and Provident Fund Board, the HOD is the Senior ExecutivSecretatry along with the Treasurer and the Secretary and lastly the Synod Moderator act as a Committee Chairman in the office as well.
